Tim Horgan

Tim Horgan has extensive experience in IT risk, compliance, and validation, currently serving as Sr. Director of IT Risk, Compliance & Validation at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since March 2016, where previous roles included Director and Associate Director of IT Validation & Compliance. Prior to Alnylam, Tim Horgan worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2011 to March 2016 as Sr. Manager of Validation Lifecycle & Systems Validation, and spent time at Pfizer Specialties/Biotechnology and Wyeth Biotech in leadership roles related to engineering GMP programs and infrastructure validation. Tim Horgan began the professional career at Wyeth from 1999 to 2005, holding positions as Computer Systems Validation Manager and Sr. Validation Engineer, and worked at Biometics as Validation and Process Engineer from 1997 to 1999. Tim Horgan earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
