Megan Lawson

Megan Lawson currently serves as the Director of Employment at ALO, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Megan was an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from October 2019 to August 2025, where responsibilities included managing complex employment litigation matters and achieving favorable outcomes for clients. From September 2013 to September 2019, Megan held the position of Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Additional professional development included participation in the Legal Council for Legal Diversity as a Pathfinder in 2017 and being selected as an Academy Fellow by the National Employment Law Council in 2016 and 2017. Megan's legal career began with roles as a Law Clerk at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and as an Extern for the Honorable Matthew F. Kennelly at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Megan holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University.
