Sherwin Jacob PMP

Sherwin Jacob PMP has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Sherwin started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an Aerospace Maintenance Supervisor, overseeing the maintenance and testing of squadron helicopters. Sherwin also functioned as a Quality Assurance and Control officer for the maintenance department.

After leaving the military, Sherwin joined Bluepoint Solutions as an Implementation Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing technical solutions for clients. Sherwin later transitioned into the role of Pre-Sales Engineer/Account Manager, assisting with sales efforts and managing customer accounts. Sherwin then took on the position of Project Manager, successfully managing multiple projects and assisting with contract reviews and assessments.

In 2013, Sherwin was promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager at Bluepoint Solutions. In this position, they played a crucial role in designing and implementing project management policies and principles, leading to improved standardization and project efficiency. Sherwin also facilitated focus groups to develop process and project improvement assets, reducing project overhead and costs while increasing customer satisfaction.

Since 2017, Sherwin has been working at Alogent, initially as a Senior Project Manager, and then as a Program Manager. In these roles, they have been responsible for resource planning, forecasting, and maintenance, resulting in improved resource utilization. Sherwin also initiated the design of the Professional Services escalation program, ensuring streamlined and standardized responses to escalated issues. Additionally, Sherwin designed an onboarding program for new team members, facilitating their integration into the Professional Services team.

Sherwin Jacob PMP completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from Ashford University between 2010 and 2011. In May 2013, they also obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
