Jiliang Wang has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2019. In 2007, they were a Doctorant at Ecole Centrale Paris, researching product family design and optimization. From 2012-2017, they worked at OWI Technologies as a Research Engineer, where they designed and implemented ATL (Automatic Treatment of natural Language) for text processing and opinions analysis. In 2017, they worked as a Professional Freelancer at OBBO Technology & Culture Consulting. In 2018, they were an IT R&D Engineer at STUDIA, where they were a full-stack web application developer. In 2019, they were a Lead Java Developer at Centreon, and a Chief Technology Officer at Waysia (ex Alorsfaim). At Waysia, they managed Dev Teams in both China and France, and developed iOS/Android client apps, iOS/Android Merchant apps, a cross platform delivery app, a client website, and a Wechat applet.

Jiliang Wang began their educational career in 2001, when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University. jiliang then continued their studies at CentraleSupélec, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in sciences of engineering in 2005. Later that same year, Jiliang Wang returned to Tsinghua University to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Engineering, which they completed in 2007. Finally, Jiliang Wang returned to CentraleSupélec to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Design Engineering in Industrial Engineering, which they completed in 2011.
