Janice Cruz has a diverse work experience starting with an internship at Barneys New York in 2016. Janice then worked as a Mentee at StreetWise Partners, a non-profit organization that helps young adults pursue their career interests. Janice later joined Baruch College as a College Assistant in the Financial Aid Office and also served as a member of the Welcome Center's Student Recruitment Team.

In 2018, Janice joined ALPFA, Inc - Association of Latino Professionals For America, where they were part of the Events Committee. Janice gained further experience in 2019 as a Sales Associate at ZARA USA, where they focused on providing personalized customer service, utilizing technology for inventory management, and assisting with online orders.

In 2022, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Carmesi Design Studio and also held a position at RippleMatch as a Leadership Development Intern. At RippleMatch, they contributed to the student expansion strategy, collaborated with peers across the country, and implemented marketing and engagement tactics. Currently, Janice is employed with TransPerfect as a Recruitment and Special Projects professional, where they started in October 2022.

Janice Cruz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Baruch College from 2018 to 2023. Additionally, they have received certifications including Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg in January 2023, BREAKING MEDIA 101 Digital Badge from Badgr (now part of Instructure) in December 2021, and NOCTI Certification from NOCTI in June 2017.
