Nicole Ioannidi

Nicole Ioannidi has extensive experience in corporate communications and public affairs. Nicole currently serves as the Corporate Communications Director at Alpha Bank since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Olympia Group of Companies as the Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director from 2021 to 2023. Their responsibilities included managing reputation, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and ESG strategy. Nicole also held the position of Head of Corporate Affairs at Vodafone from 2015 to 2020. Before that, they were the General Manager at Burson-Marsteller (Advocate/B-M) from 2008 to 2015, where they provided strategic counsel on corporate reputation, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement. Nicole also worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as the Director of Corporate Affairs from 2007 to 2008, leading strategic communication programs and cultivating positive relationships with media and stakeholders. Nicole began their career at Burson-Marsteller (Advocate/B-M & PR Team/B-M) in 2001, where they worked on various high-profile projects, including M&A communications and issues management. Finally, they started their career as an Account Executive at Edelman in 1999, focusing on technology communication strategies for startups and technology companies.

Nicole Ioannidi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, which they obtained between 1992 and 1998. Nicole also has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations from Boston University, completed in 1999. Prior to their higher education, Nicole attended Pierce College at The American College of Greece from 1985 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing from HubSpot in January 2020, and has also completed courses in Digital Marketing Essentials from Google and Business Storytelling from LinkedIn in the same year.
