Alvin Baranov serves as the President of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the largest pre-health organization at the University of Miami, where leadership encompasses organizing professional development events and fostering community service opportunities. As President of the Slavic Culture Club, Alvin promotes inclusivity and cultural awareness among students through engaging events. Experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine includes optimizing sequencing library preparation and analyzing data related to Alzheimer’s disease. Additional involvement includes roles as Professional Development Chair for the PHI Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, Co-Founder of American Students For Health, and a member of Student Government's Outreach Committee. Alvin is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Nutrition with minors in Health Management and Policy and Psychology, having graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School.
