Erik Hanson

Erik Hanson has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Erik began their career in 2000 as a Web Developer at SSESCO. In 2001, they joined Headwaters Software as a Web Developer and then progressed to Lead Web Developer and Director of Technology. In 2011, they joined vRad (Virtual Radiologic) as a Software Engineering Manager and then progressed to Senior Software Engineering Manager and Director of Software Engineering. In 2015, they returned to WAND Corporation as Vice President of Software Development and Interim Vice President of Product Management. In 2017, they joined Spok as Director of Software Development. In 2018, they joined Revel Health (now Icario) as Vice President of Product Engineering and Delivery and then Director of Software Engineering. In 2020, they joined Icario as Vice President of Software Engineering. In 2022, they joined Alpha Medical as VP of Engineering.

Erik Hanson has an educational history that includes a Masters degree in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. Erik also holds a BA in Theatre from Grinnell College, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, Erik has obtained several certifications from Scrum Alliance and Scrum, Inc., including Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Advanced Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner, Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner, and Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master.
