Shawn Browning possesses extensive experience in environmental compliance within the mining industry, having held positions at Alpha Metallurgical Resources, Contura Energy, and Alpha Natural Resources since 2005. Currently serving as an Environmental Compliance professional at Alpha Metallurgical Resources, Shawn's responsibilities include managing environmental compliance tasks, conducting water sampling, ensuring good relations with West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP), and performing various engineering duties using software such as AutoCAD and Carlson. Prior experience as an Engineering Technician at Nicewonder Group and Sammons Surveying further solidified Shawn's technical skills, complemented by a foundation in Drafting and Design Technology obtained through coursework at Logan High School.
