Oscar Tovar Muñiz

Oscar Tovar Muñiz has worked in the legal field since 2007. Oscar began their career as an Abogado Postulante at Bufete Jurídico Cruse, where they litigated multiple judicial processes for the recovery of overdue debt and defense of legal interests of companies and individuals. In 2007, they also began working as an Enlace Jurídico en Amparos Contra Leyes “B” at Procuraduría Fiscal de la Federación. In 2014, they joined UNIFIN FINANCIERA as an Abogado Sénior. In 2017, they began working at AlphaCredit as Subdirector Contencioso - Legal, where they lead all matters related to the legal universe of contingencies and debt recovery litigation of the company and its subsidiaries. Oscar also manages external offices and in-house lawyers, as well as oversees the legal area budget in various fiscal exercises and responds to internal and external audit requests.

Oscar Tovar Muñiz completed a Licenciatura degree in Derecho from the Universidad Tecnológica de México between 2001 and 2004. Oscar then completed a Posgrado degree in Derecho Fiscal from the same university in 2005. Lastly, they completed a Maestría degree in Derecho de Amparo from the Universidad de Ciencias Jurídicas de Estudios Superiores (Tepantlato) between 2008 and 2010.
