Shaunell Brent

Shaunell Brent has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Shaunell started their career at Target in 2012 as a Floater Pharmacist, where they evaluated prescription orders, provided pharmaceutical care and counseling, and maintained a drug inventory management system. Shaunell then joined Harris Teeter in 2013 as a Pharmacy Manager, where they managed pharmacy processes, ensured compliance with regulations, and educated customers and healthcare professionals. In 2015, they moved to CVS Health and took on the role of Staff Pharmacist, responsible for managing daily processes, analyzing drug interactions, and counseling patients. Shaunell later became a Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader at CVS Health, where they trained and developed leadership skills and contributed to various team development projects. Most recently, Shaunell has been working at Alphanumeric Systems as a Brand Specialty & Encompass Pharmacist on Assignment with GlaxoSmithKline, where they provide training and support to healthcare providers and patients on immuno-biologic therapies and complex medical information. Throughout their career, Shaunell has demonstrated strong regulatory compliance, efficient workflow management, and excellent patient care skills.

Shaunell Brent's education history begins in 2001 when they graduated from Cheraw High School with a High School Diploma. From 2005 to 2008, they attended the University of South Carolina for a Pre-Pharmacy Program. Afterward, they attended the Medical University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD). In 2012, Shaunell also became a Licensed Pharmacist through the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained an Immunization Certification from the American Pharmacists Association. Most recently, in 2021, Shaunell obtained a First Aid/CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
