Gisbert Ruehl

Gisbert Ruehl serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at learnd since January 2023 and as a Member of the Supervisory Board at AlphaQ Venture Capital since September 2023. Ruehl is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of G&J Invest GmbH since May 2022 and owns CHEPSTOW CAPITAL GmbH, where Ruehl has been the Managing Director since January 2019. Between March 2019 and September 2023, Ruehl was a Member of the Board of Advisors at KREATIZE GmbH. Additionally, Ruehl was the Chief Executive Officer of GFJ ESG Acquisition I SE from June 2021 to January 2023 and served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at 468 SPAC I SE in 2021. Ruehl had a long tenure at Klöckner & Co SE, serving as CEO from 2009 to 2021 and CFO from 2005 to 2012. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Partner at Roland Berger from 2002 to 2005. Educationally, Ruehl obtained a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Hamburg between 1980 and 1987.
