Alasdair Rankin

Alasdair Rankin is an accomplished PIC Design Engineer currently employed at Lumentum since December 2023, previously holding similar positions at Alphawave Semi and Ciena from August 2022 to December 2023 and April 2017 to August 2022, respectively. Alasdair's career began as a Process Engineer at Group IV Semiconductor, where efforts focused on silicon-based solid-state lighting technology, followed by a role as a Process Analyst at UBM TechInsights, analyzing semiconductor devices and fabrication processes.
