Mohammad Torabi, PhD

Mohammad Torabi, PhD, is an accomplished ASIC/FPGA Engineer currently employed at Alphawave IP Group since January 2022, with prior experience at Precise-ITC, Inc. from September 2021 to January 2022 and as a researcher and lecturer at Malayer University between September 2009 and January 2014. Dr. Torabi specializes in ASIC/FPGA design implementation for various applications, including video compression and image processing, and has developed a pipeline architecture for the Deblocking Filter of H. Dr. Torabi earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer and Electronics Engineering with distinction from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador between 2014 and 2018 and holds a Master's degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from the University of Isfahan, completed in 2009.
