Danial Nikfal

Danial Nikfal's work experience includes roles as a Principal Applications Engineer at Alphawave Semi starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Optical Applications Engineer at Semtech from October 2008 to present. In this role, they were responsible for designing, simulating, and debugging high-speed products, substrates, circuits, and structures. Danial also had experience using RF and DC probes, lasers, photo detectors, modulators, and various testing equipment. Additionally, they were involved in test automation and data post-processing using Python. Before joining Semtech, they worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at JDSU from January 2006 to October 2008.

Danial Nikfal obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a minor in Electronics from IUST in 2001. Danial then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Concordia University from 2002 to 2005.
