Kirill Dimitrov

Kirill Dimitrov has a diverse work experience across different companies and roles. Kirill'srecent role was as the Director of Application Engineering at Alphawave Semi, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Western Digital as a Sr Technologist and Technical IP Manager, responsible for IP sourcing for ASIC controllers. Kirill also served as the M-PHY Work Group Chair at MIPI Alliance from April 2018 to April 2023. Kirill has experience in hardware and IP sourcing as well, having worked as a Hardware and IP Sourcing Engineer at SanDisk® from March 2012 to February 2016. Before that, they conducted research and development for 3D stereo intrusion detection systems at Ort Braude College of Engineering and worked as a QA & Support Practical Engineer at Zoran, where they conducted product characterization and supported the Q&R department.

Kirill Dimitrov completed a Practical Engineer degree in Electronics Engineering from Bosmat in 2004. Kirill then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Braude Academic College from 2007 to 2011. Kirill later obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, completing it in 2012. Kirill has also completed two programs in the Department for Continuing Education at the University of Oxford, one in 2013 and another in 2022.
