Martin Schenk

Martin Schenk has work experience as the Head of Group Tax at Alpiq starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at EMS Group from May 2018 to September 2021. From November 2012 to May 2018, they worked as an Anwalt at Homburger. Martin started their career as a Trainee at Bär & Karrer in March 2011, where they worked until June 2012.

Martin Schenk has a Bachelor of Law from the University of Basel, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Martin then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they continued their education at the University of Basel and completed a Master of Law degree in 2011. Martin also obtained the title of Attorney-at-law (bar admission) from the Appellationsgericht Basel-Stadt in 2012. Lastly, they obtained the title of Dipl. Steuerexperte / Certified Swiss tax expert from the Trägerorganisation für die höhere Fachprüfung für Steuerexperten in 2015.
