Steve McDonald

Steve McDonald is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Group Chief Financial Officer at Alquemie Group since May 2023. Previously, McDonald held the same title at JPL Group from April 2018 to May 2023, overseeing a national specialty retailer with over 450 stores. McDonald also served as Chief Financial Officer at Cue Clothing Co. from February 2012 to April 2018 and as Chief Financial Officer at Vinta Group Pty Limited from April 2005 to January 2012. Earlier roles included Chief Financial Officer at KAZ, where the company grew significantly before its acquisition by Telstra. Additional experience includes financial leadership positions at SSA Pacific Pty Ltd and Memtec Limited. McDonald began a career in finance at PwC, progressing from Trainee to Audit Manager.
