Richard Willacy

Richard Willacy is an experienced professional with a strong background in vendor management, contract management, and commercial operations. Richard has held various senior roles throughout their career. Most recently, they served as the Vendor Management and Project Office Director at Alshaya Group, where they led the SRM Vendor Management, Contract, Commercial, and Purchasing Departments for Alshaya IT. Prior to this, they established the Vendor Management Department at Alshaya IT as the Head of Vendor Management. Richard was also the IT Category Manager at the Department for Education and the Supplier Relationship Manager at NHS England. Richard has worked in various commercial and procurement consultant roles at Socius People Solutions (SPS) and NHS Digital. Additionally, Richard has extensive experience in contract and commercial management at organizations such as Liberata, Barclays, Wipro Technologies, and NHS Connecting for Health.

Richard Willacy attended Teesside University from 1989 to 1993, earning a BA Hons degree in Business Studies. Prior to that, they attended QEGS Blackburn, although specific dates and degrees are unknown.
