Danny Di Perna

Danny Di Perna is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Alstom. Danny has over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry.

Danny started their career at Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1989 as a Vice President of Operations. Danny then moved to Air Canada in 2006 as a Senior Vice President of Operations. In 2007, they became the Vice President of Operations at Aveos Fleet Performance Inc.

In 2009, Danny joined Hamilton Sundstrand as a Vice President and General Manager. Danny was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Pratt & Whitney in 2012. In 2017, they joined GE Power as a Vice President of Global Sourcing.

Most recently, Danny became the President of Transportation at BOMBARDIER in 2018. Danny held this position until February 2021, when they were appointed as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Alstom.

After completing a Bachelor of Engineering at Concordia University, Danny Di Perna pursued an MBA in International Economics from McGill University. Danny is also certified by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

They are on a team with Ling Fang - President, APAC Region, Bruno Tourne - Chief Communications Officer, and Andrew Deleone - President, Africa, Middle East & Central Asia Region. Danny Di Perna reports to Henri Poupart-Lafarge, CEO & Chairman.
