Hussam Eassa

Hussam Eassa has over 35 years of work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Hussam is currently working as the Senior Electrical Engineering Manager at Altaeros since April 2019. Previously, they served as the Senior Product Development Systems Engineer at FLIR Systems from January 2017 to August 2018, where they led the design and development of hand-held products. Prior to that, they worked at Philips Lighting from January 2011 to May 2015 as the Senior Electrical Engineering Manager. Here, they led the Electrical Design Team at Philips Color Kinetics and also had management responsibility for Electrical Design at Philips Teletrol. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Zebra Technologies as an Electrical Engineering Manager. Before that, they served as an Electrical Engineering Manager at Nuvera Fuel Cells from 2002 to 2006. Hussam started their career at Analogic Corporation in 1997 as a Senior Project Engineer and worked there until 2002. Hussam began their professional journey at GE Healthcare in 1983, where they worked as a Video Design Engineer until 1995.

Hussam Eassa obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1974. Hussam then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 1976. Hussam furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in the period between 1976 and 1983.
