Boris Shalumov

Boris Shalumov is a Field Architect at Cambridge Semantics Inc. since April 2021, focusing on democratizing knowledge within organization ecosystems through Semantic Technologies and Knowledge Graphs. Previously, Boris worked at Deloitte Consulting from August 2016 to March 2021, where several roles were held including Senior Consultant in Knowledge Engineering, leading teams to develop search engines and business digital twins utilizing semantic technologies. Prior experience includes an Automation Engineer position at VARTA Microbattery, creating expert systems for low-cost automation solutions, and an internship at BMW Group, which involved testing innovative technologies to enhance electric vehicle production efficiency. Boris holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, earned between 2015 and 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2015. Education also includes studies at the University of Michigan from 2019 to 2020.
