Aqdas Lilani has held various positions throughout their work experience. Their most recent role is as a Senior RN Care Manager at AltaMed Health Services, where they provide assessments and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans for geriatric patients. Aqdas Lilani obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Duke University School of Nursing from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, Aqdas Lilani attended San Jose State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, with a minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences. From 2012 to 2019, Aqdas Lilani attended Las Positas College, where they completed prerequisites for their studies in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Aqdas Lilani completed high school at Dougherty Valley High School from 2010 to 2014 and received a diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Aqdas Lilani has also obtained various certifications. These include being certified as a Public Health Nurse by the California Board of Registered Nursing in July 2023. Aqdas Lilani also completed several courses through the CITI Program, including the CITI Good Clinical Practice Course, Conflicts of Interest, GCP – Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research, Public Health Research, Revised Common Rule, Biomedical Research, Social and Behavioral Research, and Vulnerable Subjects - Research Involving Children.
