Evelyn Torres-Özadali

Director Women S Health Services at AltaMed

Evelyn Torres-Özadali has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Evelyn has been with AltaMed Health Services since 2016, where they started as a Grant Program Supervisor in Women's Health and later held roles as a Clinical Quality Analyst, Population Health Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Women's Health Services. Prior to joining AltaMed, they worked as a Student Engagement Advisor at The Los Angeles Trust for Children's Health in 2016. From 2011 to 2016, Evelyn worked at Westside Family Health Center, initially as a Health Educator and later as the Community Outreach and Education Coordinator. Evelyn'searlier experience includes working as a Youth Development Program Supervisor at the Los Angeles Unified School District from 2007 to 2011. Evelyn also gained experience as an Environmental Health Intern at the LA County Department of Public Health in 2011.

Evelyn Torres-özadali's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Science: Community Health Education from California State University, Long Beach, which they completed in 2011. Evelyn then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, which they completed between 2014 and 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Evelyn has also obtained several certifications. Evelyn became a Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc in September 2011. Evelyn also received training in HIV Testing and Counseling from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation in 2012. Furthermore, Evelyn has a certification as a Family Planning Health Worker from the California Family Health Council, though the date of obtaining it is unknown.
