Jason Israel

Jason Israel has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Jason is currently working as a Software Engineer at AltaMed Health Services since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineering and Data Science Intern at NeuroID in 2022, where they designed and developed a backend service for a customer-facing portal and implemented an automated pipeline to save time for data scientists. From 2018 to 2022, Jason worked as a Software Engineer at Amplify.ai, where they designed and developed a full-stack NLP training framework, resulting in a significant improvement in the learning rate of virtual assistants. Jason also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Botworx.ai in 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technology Intern at Langtech in 2015, conducting a design review and maintaining client servers and desktops. Jason also worked as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps in 2014 and as a Summer Intern at The Packer Collegiate Institute in 2012, where they performed various technical tasks.

Jason Israel has a diverse education history. Jason earned a High School Diploma from The Packer Collegiate Institute, where they studied a range of subjects. Following that, they attended Oberlin College from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Currently, Jason is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, starting in 2021 and expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Jason has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills. Jason obtained certifications in Statistics with Python, Fitting Statistical Models to Data with Python, Inferential Statistical Analysis with Python, and Understanding and Visualizing Data with Python, all from Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra from Imperial College London in October 2020.
