Lizandra Borrego

Lizandra Borrego has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lizandra started their career as a Sales Associate at Toyonda Auto Sales in 1997. Lizandra then worked as a Sales Consultant at United Embroidery from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they served as a Sales Manager & Loan Consultant at Equity Home Loans from 2005 to 2008. Lizandra also worked as an Attorney's Assistant at the Office of Oscar Gutierrez in 2008.

In 2012, Lizandra joined Forever 21 as a Sr. Human Resources|D.C., where they primarily handled employee inquiries and supported the annual performance review process. Lizandra also took on roles as a Benefits Administrator|Absence Management and later as Risk Management|Legal. During their time at Forever 21, they acted as the point of contact for health and safety concerns, investigated customer injuries, and managed documentation related to insurance claims.

In 2016, Lizandra became an HR Generalist at NRI Distribution Inc, where they managed the recruitment process, coordinated the safety program, and handled workers' compensation claims. In 2017, they joined Little Caesars Pizza as a Human Resources Business Partner, focusing on employee engagement, retention, and talent/management development. Lizandra played a key role in implementing HR policies and procedures and resolving employee relations and performance issues.

Currently, Lizandra works as a Human Resources Business Partner at AltaMed Health Services. In this role, they specialize in employment relations, employment law, conflict mediation, and employee and management education. Lizandra is responsible for developing strategies to reduce turnover associated with employee relations matters.

Lizandra Borrego earned a B.S degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills. Lizandra attended the university from 2008 to 2011.
