Vlad Laukhin

Vlad Laukhin is a machine learning developer at AltaML. Previously, they worked as a research associate at the University of Alberta, where they constructed multiple linear regressions to create geostatistical models of reservoir properties. Vlad also worked as a student geoscientist at Repsol, where they applied regression models using Python to production and petrophysical data aiming at highlighting “sweet spots”.

Vlad Laukhin has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience from University of Alberta, NanoDegrees in Machine Learning Engineer and Data Analytics from Udacity, and a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Vlad is also certified by Microsoft in Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, IHS, Inc. in Comprehensive 2D/3D PAK- EarthPAK workflow - SMT, Inc., and NExT Schlumberger in Integrated approach to well logging and Petrel velocity modeling.
