Fabian Bifaretti

Fabian Bifaretti currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Altán Redes since October 2023. Previously, Bifaretti held the position of CEO at Sports World from July 2012 to January 2023, where successful execution of an expansion plan led to market leadership. As CEO of Movistar (Telefónica Hispam) from August 2008 to August 2011, Bifaretti significantly increased the customer base and market share while improving operating margins. Prior experience at Telefónica includes roles as Assistant General Manager for North LATAM, Distribution Network Manager, and Marketing Director, contributing to substantial regional project investments and brand recognition. Bifaretti began the professional journey as Sales Director at Telefónica and Administration Manager from March 1993 to December 1996, following an auditing and consulting career at Arthur Andersen & Co. Academic qualifications include a degree in Accounting from Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
