Emily Deignan

Emily Deignan is a Senior Medical Writer at Altasciences since August 2023, responsible for producing high-quality documentation to support research programs in compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations. As a PhD Graduate Student at the University of Guelph since May 2017, Emily focuses on the design, development, and validation of bone adhesives for sternal reconstruction. Previous roles include Research Engineer at Cloud DX, where expertise was gained in quality management systems within ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 frameworks, and Research Assistant at the University of Guelph, where significant experience was accumulated in comparative research studies and surgical assistance. Emily holds a Master of Science in Medical Clinical Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph.
