Kelsey Brooks is a Scientist and Study Director at Altasciences since December 2019, following a postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University from September 2016 to December 2019, where research focused on chromosome segregation and mitotic aneuploidy in various animal models. Prior to that, Kelsey served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia from June 2012 to July 2016, investigating genetic modifications in bovine and ovine embryos and teaching courses in animal science. Earlier experience includes working as a Laboratory/Animal Technician at Washington State University, managing a mouse colony for transgenic research, and conducting undergraduate research on embryonic testis development. Kelsey holds a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Cell Biology from Washington State University.
