Konrad Pizzuto

Konrad Pizzuto has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology sector. Konrad is currently serving as the Director of Technology Operations at Altenar, where they have built a global Technology Operations department and achieved ISO27001 certification. Prior to Altenar, they worked as the Infrastructure Engineering Manager at SG Digital, where they led the global Infrastructure Engineering function and oversaw the setup of infrastructure for various projects. Before that, they held the same role at NYX Gaming Group Ltd.

Konrad also has experience working at Amaya, where they served as the Infrastructure Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer. Konrad played an integral role in data center design, planning, and implementation. In addition, they have worked at Betfair, where they held various roles including Datacenter Design Engineer, Infrastructure Delivery Team Lead, and Datacenter Engineer.

Earlier in their career, Konrad worked at Panta Computer Co. Ltd as a Senior Engineer and Team Leader, and at Terranet Ltd as a Systems & Networks Engineer. Konrad started their career as an Engineering Undergrad Student at Methode Electronics Malta and Vodafone (Greece). Throughout their career, Konrad has gained expertise in infrastructure architecture, project management, and team leadership.

Konrad Pizzuto completed their primary, secondary, and post-secondary education at St. Edward's College from 1984 to 1995. During this time, they pursued A-levels in Physics, Pure Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry.

Afterward, they attended the University of Malta from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Telecommunications.

Continuing their education, from 2001 to 2003, Konrad pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in E-business at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Additionally, Konrad Pizzuto obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include CCNA and CCNP track certifications from Cisco Systems in 2010, Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP) from CNET in the same year, IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008 certification from the Chamber of Engineers in 2010, Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) Foundation & Practitioner certification from APM Group in 2010, Kepner-Tregoe RESOLVE methodology certification from Kepner-Tregoe in 2009, ITIL V3 Foundation certification from OGC in 2009, Solaris Certified Network Administrator (Solaris 10) certification from Sun Microsystems in 2008, Solaris Certified System Administrator (Solaris 10) certification from Sun Microsystems in the same year, HDS 9900 Series Field Support Engineer certification from Hitachi Data Systems in 2006, and Sun SPARC III Midrange Server and Sun Midrange Storage Support Engineer certification from Sun Microsystems in 2005.
