Karina Albuquerque

Karina Albuquerque has extensive work experience in human resources. Karina started their career as an HR Coordinator at Lojas Americanas S.A. in 2000 and worked in that role until 2002. Karina then joined BG Group as an HR Manager in 2004, where they remained until 2016. In 2018, Karina became the Head of HR - Brazil at Teekay. Currently, they hold the position of Head of HR Brazil at Altera Infrastructure, starting in 2020.

Karina Albuquerque completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Human Resources at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro from 1994 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at Ibmec from 2002 to 2005.
