Nicole Haugland

Nicole Haugland, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Talent & Performance at Alterra Mountain Company since September 2022. Previously, Nicole held the position of Senior Relationship Manager for Talent Development at Vail Resorts from August 2015 to August 2021, where responsibilities included the strategic development and implementation of talent and leadership initiatives, notably integrating multiple resorts. Nicole's earlier roles include Organizational Development Consultant (2002-2014), Director of Communications and Public Relations at Sierra Nevada College (2007-2009), and Internal Consultant for Organizational Effectiveness at Booth Creek Ski Holdings (2002-2007). Nicole earned a Ph.D. in Human Communication Studies from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Colorado College.
