Vashti Bandy

Vashti Bandy has extensive experience in education and veterinary technology. Currently serving as an Assistant Language Teacher at ALTIA CENTRAL since March 2010, Vashti teaches English classes at multiple elementary and special needs schools in Toyota City, Japan, while also preparing lesson plans and supplemental materials. Prior to this role, Vashti worked as a Vet Tech at Cat Vet of South St from October 2001 to June 2011. Educationally, Vashti holds a Master’s degree in English-Creative Writing from Temple University (2007-2009) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (1997-2001). In addition, Vashti has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Temple University, where instruction focused on writing-intensive courses, and participated in the prestigious Odyssey Writing Workshop in 2007.
