Earnest Taylor, PhD

Earnest Taylor, PhD has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Earnest started their career as a Student Assistant Researcher at the USDA in 2008, where they gained hands-on experience in experimental design, field and lab work, and worked with aflatoxin and breeding resistant Maize inbred lines. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Student Teacher at Mercer University. Earnest then joined Mayo Clinic as a Post Doctoral Fellow from 2016 to 2021. During this time, they focused on their research and contributed to scientific advancements. Following their time at Mayo Clinic, Earnest worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as part of the Carolina Postdoctoral Program for Faculty Diversity from 2021 to 2023.
