Wasim Abu Salem has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder of Altooro, a B2B SaaS talent prediction and evaluation platform. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of Oseela, a mobile app for organizing group trips. From 2016 to 2021, they were an Ambassador for One Young World, a Delegate for The Global Entrepreneurship Summit, and a Fellow for the USA pavilion @ Expo 2020 in Dubai. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Founder of Loop CS, an organization that invests in people, and the Project Manager & International Relations Coordinator for the Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL). In 2014, they were a Legal Intern for the Israeli Law, Information and Technology Authority (ILITA).
Wasim Abu Salem has an extensive educational background. In 2010, they began their studies at the University of Haifa, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with a focus on Information Technology and Data Protection in 2014. Wasim also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same university during this time. In 2015, they attended Montana State University-Bozeman and obtained a Certification in Leadership. In 2016, they were a Fellow at Stanford University and also attended the Israel Bar Association for a Cyber-security program and Law & Technology. In 2018, Wasim was a Fellow at Our Generation Speaks for Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies and attended Brandeis University for Business. In addition to their formal education, Wasim has obtained two certifications, one from HarvardX in Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market in December 2020 and another from WeWork in May 2019 for 5 Day Charge startup winner - Oseela.
