Vice President Of Operations at Altor Solutions

Brian Blackford is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Altor Solutions since May 2023. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the molding operations across multiple sites that produce EPS, EPE, and EPP components for various industries.

Prior to their current position, Brian worked as the Plant Manager at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies from May 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they worked at Sealed Air Corporation from June 2007 to June 2015 as the Director of Operations, leading multiple North American plant locations engaged in tray operations for the food industry.

At Clopay Plastic Products, Brian held the role of Plant Manager from October 1998 to June 2007. Brian was responsible for directing plant operations at different locations, including Augusta, Kentucky, and Fresno, California. The company specialized in producing cast extruded film and laminates for the healthcare and hygienic industries.

Brian's career started at Seaman Corporation in August 1993, where they initially worked as a Process Engineer for three years. Later, they became the Manager of Shop Operations, overseeing manufacturing operations and coordinating various production activities.

Brian began their professional journey at Dunnage Engineering as a Development Technician from May 1989 to December 1990.

Brian Blackford completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Plastics Engineering Technology from Eastern Michigan University in the period of 1983 to 1989. Brian later pursued an MBA in Business at Ashland University, which they finished between 1994 and 1997. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Green Belt Certification in 2009 from Sealed Air Corporation and a Lean Manufacturing Certificate from the University of Kentucky, which they completed by 2003. Additionally, they acquired the Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership certification from LinkedIn in 2018.
