Tatyana Makushok

Tatyana Makushok is a skilled Scientist II in Computational at Altos Labs since September 2022, with a solid background in research and education. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Scientist and Research Associate at Gilead Sciences and an Associate Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco, where significant projects involved studying cell habituation and conducting RNA interference screens in Stentor. Tatyana has also contributed as a project-based research course instructor and teaching assistant in microscopy and image analysis at UCSF and EMBL. Tatyana earned a PhD in Natural Sciences from EMBL and Heidelberg University, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in physics and computer science from Paris Diderot University. Early research experience includes internships at prestigious institutions such as the Curie Institute and the University of Pennsylvania.
