Michael Simonsen

Michael Simonsen has worked in a variety of roles in the real estate and technology industries since 2004. Michael began their career as the Vice President of Marketing at Nevis Networks in 2004. In 2010, they joined the Advisory Board of NabeWise Media, which was later acquired by AirBnB in 2012. In 2012, they joined the Board of Directors and served as President of the Entrepreneurs' Organization San Francisco from 2015 to 2020. In 2014, they joined the Advisory Board of Revaluate, and in 2016 they became an Advisor Partner and Investor at Anew Apartments and an Advisor at CallAction.co. In 2018, they became an Advisor and Investor at Homebuyer.com. In 2022, they became President of Altos Research, which was acquired by HW Media, publishers of HousingWire and RealTrends. Michael now runs Altos Research as a division of HW Media.

Michael Simonsen earned a BS in Computer Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1992, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University in 1997.
