Ali Salehi

Ali "Armin" Salehi, PhD, is a Principal Scientist I at Altria, specializing in Discrete Element Simulation (DEM) of Powdered Flow, customized Pharmacokinetic modeling, and moisture/ink migration modeling for innovative packaging design. With experience as a Senior Scientist II, Salehi has utilized first-principles modeling and advanced simulations to advance reduced harm products. Previously, Salehi was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, focusing on polyelectrolyte transport in thin films, and has worked collaboratively with Pfizer and The Dow Chemical Company. Salehi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, alongside MS and BS degrees in Polymer and Chemical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
