Nicholas Geatches

Nicholas Geatches has extensive work experience in finance and restructuring. Nicholas currently works as the Finance Director at Altrix. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance at St Bartholomew's Hospital, Barts Health for four years. Before that, they worked at Monitor as a Senior Transformation & Turnaround Manager for four years. Additionally, Nicholas worked at KPMG UK for 14 years, where they held various roles including Senior Manager in Restructuring and Assistant Manager in Audit, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. Nicholas also had a secondment at Barclays Investment Bank as a Manager in Credit Restructuring and Advisory Group.

Nicholas Geatches has a diverse education history. Nicholas began their academic journey at King Edward VI College in Totnes, Devon from 1991 to 1997. During this time, they pursued and successfully completed their 3 A Levels in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, achieving A grades in all subjects.

In 1997, Nicholas Geatches moved on to the University of Oxford, where they specialized in Chemistry. Nicholas spent four years at Oxford, ultimately earning a Master of Chemistry degree in 2001.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Geatches enrolled in the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in 2001. Over the course of three years, from 2001 to 2004, they undertook studies in Accounting and obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification.

Expanding their knowledge beyond the science and business fields, Geatches pursued an Executive MBA at the Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées School of International Management with the University of Edinburgh from 2009 to 2010. This program provided him with comprehensive education in Business Administration and Management, further enhancing their skill set.

Through these educational experiences, Nicholas Geatches has developed a solid foundation in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (from their A Level studies), as well as expertise in Accounting and Business Administration gained from their degrees in ACA and Executive MBA, respectively.
