Alex Dumouchelle

Alex DuMouchelle is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing automated systems and components. Currently employed at Altron Automation since July 2025, Alex previously worked at Axis Automation from March 2021 to July 2025 and held a mechanical engineering role at Edge-Sweets Co. between May 2020 and March 2021. Early career experiences include internships and co-op positions at Axis Automation, Hutchinson, and Vibracoustic, where Alex honed skills in creating detailed drawing packages, designing sub-assemblies for automated systems, and conducting performance analyses. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University.
