Collin Govender

Collin Govender has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Collin currently serves as the Managing Director for Altron Systems Integration since 2022. Before this, they held the position of Managing Director at Altron Karabina from 2021, where they successfully implemented a business turnaround strategy and achieved significant revenue and profit growth. Prior to that, Collin worked at Altron as Group CIO and Group Executive: Shared Services from 2017 to 2021, where they played a key role in implementing a standardized enterprise architecture and establishing the Group Shared Services model. Collin also has a history with T-Systems South Africa, where they held various leadership positions, including Vice President Sales and Service Management, VP Systems Integration, Vice President Human Resources, Head of Desktop Services and Solutions, Business Manager - Application Development Services Factory, and Customer Service Delivery Manager. Throughout their career, Collin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving profitability and growth in the organizations they have worked for.

Collin Govender completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Business Administration and Management at INSEAD in 2023. Prior to that, they attended the Harvard Business School in 2016 for the Strategic Executive Program for Africa (SEPA) in Business Administration and Management. In 2003, they pursued a Management Development Programme (MDP) at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. In 2002, Collin obtained a certification as a Principal Lotus Administrator from IBM/Lotus. Collin also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in Computer Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed in 1996. Collin Govender completed their secondary education at Southlands Secondary from 1990 to 1994, although the degree and field of study are not provided for this period.
