Mutual Funds Manager

What you’ll do

• Responsible for reconciliation and monitoring of trades
• Ensure selling agreements established as needed
• Coordinate with the Onboarding Team to ensure stock record of any mutual fund positions can be supported prior to onboarding
• Ensuring proper capture and recording of dividends paid directly by the fund family 
• Establishing mutual fund cross references when needed
• Primary contact with transfers team to ensure quick and accurate movement of  shares
• SS&C, Matrix and NSCC daily processing and escalations 
• MF Point of contact with DTCC and NSCC
• Define business requirements for both mutual fund internal reporting and reconciliation
• Work with product for trading rules as needed 
• Define KBAs and support CS as needed 
• Support advisor escalations and perform advisor outbound calls when necessary (operations issues) 
• Validate trade confirmation and statement output for compliance 
• Resolution of trade posting exceptions
• Responsible for insuring Altruists meets intraday and close of day financial demands from clearing corps
• Responsible for proper cancellation, correction, rebooking, fail clean ups, and recording trades into uncleared suspense accounts or other accounts as needed
• Reconciliation breaks; the escalation/discussion process between control groups
• Access control for order entry and corrections. 
• Propose amendment to business rules or internal controls as needed

What you’ll bring 

• FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 highly preferred
• 3 - 5 years of hands-on financial operations experience at a self clearing broker dealer 
• Fixed income, equities, and ETF settlements experience is a plus
• Entrepreneurial attitude and a deep empathy for our customers

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to easily convey complex matters in an easy-to-understand manner
• Strong understanding  of securities trading processes and applicable securities laws and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to apply technology to enhance business processes
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
