Ana Maria Rojas

Ana Maria Rojas is an experienced education and public relations professional with a strong background in equity and inclusion. Currently serving as the Equity and Inclusion Administrator and Chair of the English Learner Achievement Department at Altus Schools since January 2016, Rojas has previously held significant roles at The Charter School of San Diego as a Learning Lead and Multi-Subject Teacher, as well as teaching English Language Arts to 8th graders at KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy. Rojas has a diverse background in public relations, having worked as a Public Information Officer for the City of San Diego and as a Public Relations Specialist with multiple organizations, where responsibilities included media relations, press release writing, and campaign development. Rojas holds a Master of Arts in English Language Learning from Western Governors University, and additional degrees from San Diego State University and Mt. San Antonio College.
