Dominic Rios

Dominic Rios has extensive experience in educational leadership and innovative teaching practices, currently serving as Department Chair for Technology Innovation & Research at Altus Schools since August 2013. In this role, Dominic leads a team focused on integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student and community engagement. Dominic also holds prior positions at Altus Schools, including Department Chair for School Pathways & Edgenuity and educator in alternative education settings. Previously, Dominic was a Corps Member with Teach For America and held various roles at Santa Clara University, gaining experience in residential community development and student management. Dominic possesses a Master of Education in School Leadership from the University of San Diego and multiple teaching credentials in Social Sciences from San Diego State University.
