Tim Mahren Brown is an experienced professional in the international education sector, currently serving as the Manager of Innovation and Growth at Education New Zealand since September 2019. Responsibilities include planning and executing strategies for diversification of products and services to transform and enhance international education. Previous roles at Education New Zealand involved project management and advisory positions focused on innovation responsive to global changes. Tim has held significant leadership roles, including Acting National Director of AFS Intercultural Programmes NZ and General Manager at The Campbell Institute, where a successful transition and brand development were overseen. As a founder of The Campbell Institute, Tim expanded the school from one to over 1000 students annually. Academic qualifications include a BA Hons from Victoria University of Wellington and a BA from the University of Canterbury, complemented by an education experience at Wuhan University.
