Karl Krajic

Karl Krajic is an experienced academic and researcher with a robust background in health and medical sociology. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vienna since July 2008, Karl Krajic teaches at the Institute for Sociology while also contributing as a Senior Researcher at the FORBA Forschungs- und Beratungsstelle Arbeitswelt since 2015, specializing in health promotion within organizational contexts. Previously, Karl Krajic held key positions at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Health Promotion Research and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Health and Medical Sociology, focusing on interdisciplinary research targeting health promotion for the elderly and healthcare workforce development. With a foundational education that includes a PhD in Sociology, Political Science, and Communication from the University of Vienna, Karl Krajic's work spans several influential collaborations, including with the WHO on health promotion initiatives in healthcare settings.
