Jose Ocando

Jose Ocando is a seasoned professional in the fields of brand design and marketing with an extensive career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Lead Brand Designer at Alvaria, Inc. since July 2024, Jose previously held the position of Creative Director at Whiteboard from January 2020 to July 2024. As the Founder of Serve | Chattanooga Web & Graphic Design Agency from January 2018 to January 2020, Jose demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in graphic design. Prior to that, Jose worked as the Director of Marketing and Administration at The Lea Team, where responsibilities included collaborating with sellers to market properties. Jose's early career included a role as a Foreclosure Prevention Advisor at Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Inc., where education on foreclosure prevention options was provided to homeowners. Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Covenant College, obtained between 2003 and 2007, and attended MAST Academy from 1999 to 2003.
