Amir Damerdji

Associate Partner at Alvarium

Amir Damerdji is an Associate Partner at Alvarium’s New-York office, where he is responsible for sourcing and realizing growth stage, private equity and real estate investments for principals and clients of the firm. He is a member of the Co-Investment Committee and the Digital Assets Committee.

Amir is an experienced investment professional, who has built expertise in the origination and execution of mergers, acquisitions and investments for over 14 years. Prior to joining Alvarium in 2019, he was Associate Director with the Investment Execution Group at Qatar Investment Authority (“QIA”), where he was responsible for the screening, evaluation and completion of over 45 transactions worldwide, spanning industries such as real estate, infrastructure, consumer & retail, technology, travel & leisure, etc. During his tenure, he helped realize notable investments for QIA, including in Heathrow Airport and Fairmont Raffles Hotels among others, resulting in investments worth more than $16bn.

Prior to that, Amir started his career in the investment banking groups of BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole CIB in Paris and London. His entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding two non-profits and an education financing startup.

Amir received his MS in Management degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his Master of Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
